Account & login

Creating an account

Open the app or web app and choose sign up. Enter a valid email and a password that meets the minimum length shown on screen. After sign up, complete any profile steps you are prompted for so other players can find you and invite you to groups.

Sign in with email

Use the same email and password you registered with. If you cannot sign in, check caps lock, reset your password using the provider’s reset flow if available, and make sure you are not mixing up an old email address.

Google Sign-In

If your device offers Google sign-in, you can use it instead of a password. Use the same Google account each time so your ladder history and groups stay attached to one Ladric profile.

Signing out

Open your profile or settings area and use Sign out. You will need to sign in again to see ladders, send messages, or report matches.

Getting started & navigation

First steps in the app

Add the sports you play, set basic profile info, then join or create a sport group. Your rankings and match reports are always tied to a specific group and sport, not only to “the sport” globally.

Mobile walkthrough images will be added here later.

Home, ladder, activity, profile

The main app uses a bottom navigation bar: Home for your dashboard and quick actions, ladder/rankings views for standings, an activity hub for challenges and social flows, and Profile for your stats, settings, and account tools.

Mobile walkthrough images will be added here later.

Selected sport group

If you belong to several groups, many screens use the currently selected group. If rankings or report flows look “empty” or wrong, open the group picker and choose the club or community you intend to play in. The app may auto-select a sensible default when you only have one group.

Mobile walkthrough images will be added here later.

Offline mode and sync

When the device is offline, some actions are queued locally and sent when you are back online. If you see an offline or connectivity message, finish reporting or confirming once you have a stable connection so your opponent and ladder stay up to date.

Sport groups

Creating a sport group

Choose create group (or equivalent) from the groups flow. Enter a clear group name, pick the sport, and fill in required fields such as location or description when the form asks for them — empty required fields will show validation messages until fixed. As creator, you are typically the owner and can manage invites and membership.

Mobile walkthrough images will be added here later.

Joining a group

Search for public groups or use an invite (link or QR). Some groups require owner approval; you may stay in a “pending” state until the organizer accepts you. Once accepted, you appear on that group’s ladder for the chosen sport.

Mobile walkthrough images will be added here later.

Invites, links, and QR codes

Organizers can share a group invite link or show a QR code. Scanning with the app (camera permission may be required) or opening the link on a phone should start the join flow. If scanning fails, check lighting, camera permission, and that you are using the latest app version.

Mobile walkthrough images will be added here later.

Leaving a group

Use the group’s settings or detail screen to leave when you no longer play there. You will stop appearing on that ladder; past confirmed matches in that group usually remain in history according to the product rules.

Same sport, different groups

Each sport group has its own ladder and match history. Being ranked in a workplace padel group does not merge with your weekend club — switch the selected group to see the correct standings and to report matches in the right community.

Owner: members and invites

Group owners can review join requests and share invites. If someone says they are “stuck pending,” approve them from the member or invite management area. Exact labels may vary slightly by platform but the intent is the same: control who belongs to the ladder.

Rankings, ladder & ELO

What ELO means here

ELO (or similar rating) estimates skill from match results. Beating a higher-rated opponent usually moves you up more than beating someone far below you. The exact formula is handled by Ladric; you mainly need to know that only confirmed results affect ratings.

Mobile walkthrough images will be added here later.

Order on the ladder

The ladder shows players in that group for that sport. Position can reflect rating, wins, activity rules, or ties depending on implementation — if two players look “close,” check recent confirmed matches and whether everyone is in the same group context.

Mobile walkthrough images will be added here later.

Competition mode

Some sports or settings distinguish stricter “competition” behaviour from casual play. If results are not counting as you expect, check profile or sport settings for competition mode defaults and whether the match was marked friendly vs ranked (see matches section).

Empty or missing ladder

New groups start with few players. Invite members or join an existing community. If you expected players but see none, confirm you selected the correct group and sport, and that your account finished joining (not stuck pending).

Reporting & confirming matches

How to report a match

Start a new match report from the home or match flow. Select your opponent, sport, and scores (sets/games/points as the form shows). Double-check the correct group so the result applies to the right ladder. Submitting usually notifies the other player to confirm.

Mobile walkthrough images will be added here later.

Friendly vs ranked matches

When reporting, choose whether the match should count for ladder/rating or is a friendly. If ratings did not move, the match may have been marked friendly, not confirmed yet, or tied to a different group than you are viewing.

Mobile walkthrough images will be added here later.

Location and evidence fields

Some flows ask for optional location or notes to support fair play or verification. Grant location permission if you want one-tap venue capture; otherwise type a short note. If the app rejects a report, read the on-screen message — it usually points to a missing required field.

Confirming or disputing a result

The opponent receives the reported score. Confirm if it is correct so the ladder updates. If the score is wrong, use dispute or the provided disagreement flow instead of confirming — the ladder should not finalize until the conflict is resolved.

Match history (Basic vs Premium)

Everyone can see recent activity, but full depth of history and some analytics may be limited on Basic and expanded for Premium. If older matches disappeared from a list, check whether a paywall or time window applies — upgrading restores access according to what the in-app Premium screen states.

Queued or failed match reports

If a report did not go through, note any banner about connectivity. Stay on a good network and retry. Avoid submitting duplicates with different scores — talk to your opponent and agree before resending.

Challenges & find match

Sending a challenge

From discover or player profiles, send a challenge for a sport and group context when offered. The other player gets a notification (if enabled) and can accept or decline. Until they respond, the request may show as pending.

Mobile walkthrough images will be added here later.

Accepting, declining, expiring

Open the challenge from your activity hub or notifications. Accept to schedule play in good faith, or decline if you cannot make it. Old requests may expire automatically — send a fresh challenge if needed.

Find match / open play

Use the hub or discovery tools to surface players who are open to games. Your profile settings (availability, area) help others know when and where you prefer to play.

Profile, settings & notifications

Profile stats and active league

Your profile summarizes performance and may highlight an active league or primary group. Stats update after confirmed matches. If numbers look stale, confirm pending results first.

Achievements

Achievements unlock as you hit milestones (matches played, streaks, social actions, etc.). If you expected a badge, check whether the underlying action finished (e.g. match fully confirmed).

Editing profile & photo

Update name, bio, photo, and public details from settings or profile edit. Other players use this to recognize you in search and challenges. Large images may need cropping or permission to access photos.

Mobile walkthrough images will be added here later.

Theme and units

Switch between dark and light appearance if offered, and choose metric or imperial units for distances and related fields. These are preference-only and do not change your rating.

Availability and play area

Set when you are generally free to play and your preferred area or venues. This helps challenges and discovery; it is not a guarantee you are online at a specific minute.

Push notifications

In settings you can toggle categories such as challenges, match confirmation and disputes, rank changes, direct messages, and team invites. If you miss time-sensitive confirmations, enable match-related alerts and check OS-level notification permissions for Ladric.

Mobile walkthrough images will be added here later.

Verification and pro badges

Some accounts can request or display verification or pro-style badges when the product supports it. Flows may ask for extra information or review. If you are stuck on a step, screenshot the screen and email support with your Ladric email.

Social, DMs & teams

Search users and follow

Use search to find players by name or handle. Following someone helps you track activity and send challenges depending on privacy settings.

Mobile walkthrough images will be added here later.

Direct messages (DMs)

Message opponents to arrange matches or resolve score questions. If DMs fail, check network, notification settings, and whether the recipient allows messages. Use in-app safety tools if someone behaves abusively and contact support with evidence if needed.

Teams, team chat, and invites

Team features let you coordinate with a fixed squad: invites, team chat, and sometimes team-vs-team challenges. Accept invites from notifications or the hub. If you cannot see a team screen, you may not be on a roster yet.

Referrals and share links

Sharing your referral or profile link helps friends install Ladric and join you. Open links on a phone with the app installed for the best experience; web fallbacks may vary by feature.

Premium & billing

What Premium adds

Premium is designed for convenience and depth: more sports on one account, richer match history, and related quality-of-life features. It does not buy rank or guaranteed wins. Exact bullets appear on the in-app Premium screen for your platform.

Mobile walkthrough images will be added here later.

Sport limit on Basic

Basic accounts may cap how many sports you can track at once. If the app blocks adding another sport, review the paywall message — upgrading to Premium typically raises the cap. You can still play socially offline; the limit applies to product features.

Mobile walkthrough images will be added here later.

Restore purchases & trials

On mobile stores, use Restore purchases (wording may vary) after reinstalling or switching devices. Free trials, when offered, convert to paid plans according to store rules — check the subscription screen and your store email receipts.

Frequently asked questions

After both players confirm a result, Ladric updates the ladder and ELO for that sport group. If something looks wrong, check that the match was confirmed and tied to the correct group and sport.
Organizers can share a link or QR code. Opening the invite in the app lets you request to join; owners approve members. Each group has its own ladder — same sport can have separate groups.
No. Basic includes group ladders and reporting matches. Premium adds convenience and depth (e.g. more sports on your account, richer history and stats). It does not buy wins or rank.
The ladder usually waits for confirmation so results stay fair. Try messaging your opponent in the app. If you’re stuck, email support@ladric.com with both player names, sport, and date played.
Most lists are scoped to the selected sport group. Open the group selector and pick the club or community you joined. If you are still pending approval, you may not appear on the ladder until the owner accepts you.
Common reasons: the match was marked friendly, it is not confirmed yet, or you are viewing a different group than the one used when reporting. Check match details and confirmation status.
Enable push in Ladric settings for the categories you care about, then check iOS/Android system settings — notifications may be off at the OS level. Quiet hours or focus modes can also hide alerts.
Basic accounts may hit a sport cap. Read the on-screen message — it usually explains the limit and how Premium raises it. You can remove or reorder sports if the product allows, or upgrade when you are ready.
Grant camera permission, improve lighting, hold steady, and try the invite link in a message instead of QR. Update Ladric from the store if the scanner fails repeatedly.
A dispute pauses finalization until players agree or support/policy steps resolve the conflict. Avoid confirming a score you believe is incorrect; message your opponent to correct and resubmit if the app allows.
Ladric stores account and activity data to run ladders and social features. Other players typically see profile and match information according to your settings and group visibility. Read the Privacy page for details and contact options.
Right now ladric.com is the marketing site; the full Ladric web client is not published yet. Use the mobile app from the App Store or Google Play when available (tap Get the app on the homepage). A browser version may be added later under /app/ when Flutter web is deployed.
