Cookie Policy
Effective date: [Insert date] · Last updated: [Insert date]
This policy is a draft for Ladric. Have it reviewed by legal counsel before publication.
This Cookie Policy (“Policy”) explains how and why Ladric (“we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies (“cookies”) on https://ladric.com and on webpages, mobile apps, or other services that link to this Policy. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in our Terms of Service or Privacy Policy.
1. Cookies and similar technologies
A cookie is a small data file that may be stored on the device you use to access the Services, containing information about your browser and activity. Some cookies are first-party (set by us); others are third-party (set by partners such as analytics or advertising providers when we use them).
We use session cookies (typically deleted when you close your browser) and persistent cookies (stored until they expire or you delete them).
We also use similar technologies such as tags, pixels, and local storage when we refer to “cookies” in this Policy.
Unless we say otherwise here, our Privacy Policy applies to information collected through cookies.
2. How Ladric uses cookies
We use cookies to operate the Services, improve performance and security, remember preferences, understand how the marketing site and (where applicable) app or web client are used, and—only if we enable them—to support analytics or marketing. We group cookies roughly as follows:
| Category | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Essential / strictly necessary | Sign-in, session security, fraud prevention, load balancing, and core functionality. You cannot turn these off if you want the site or app to work as designed. |
| Functional | Remember choices (e.g. language, cookie banner choices) and improve usability. |
| Performance / analytics | Measure visits, errors, and feature usage so we can improve the product (e.g. aggregated statistics). |
| Targeting / advertising | Only if we use ad or social pixels. Used to measure campaigns or show relevant ads. We will list specific tools in an appendix or cookie preference centre when we deploy them. |
Ladric today: The marketing site may use minimal cookies for hosting, forms, and any tools you add (e.g. analytics). The mobile app may use SDKs or local storage governed by the app platform and our Privacy Policy. Update this section when you add Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, Meta Pixel, etc.
3. Managing cookies
- Cookie banner / settings: If we provide a preference centre on ladric.com, you can withdraw consent for non-essential cookies there.
- Browser settings: Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking all cookies may break sign-in or other features.
- Mobile devices: You may limit ad tracking or reset advertising identifiers in iOS/Android settings.
- Industry opt-outs (where available): EEA / UK / Switzerland: Your Online Choices. US: DAA AppChoices (and similar programmes as applicable).
4. List of cookies
Maintain a table of cookie names, providers, purpose, and duration—or link to a hosted cookie list. Until that exists: we will publish an updated list before enabling non-essential third-party cookies.
5. Changes
We may update this Policy by posting a new version on ladric.com (including https://ladric.com/cookies/) with an updated effective date. Material changes should be communicated as described in our Terms or Privacy Policy.
